Job Summary
Lead transaction execution and manage deal processes for venture capital, growth equity, and private capital transactions ranging from seed financings to late-stage exits. Draft and negotiate principal transaction documents while serving as the day-to-day contact for founders, executives, boards, and investment professionals. Coordinate multidisciplinary teams across practices and offices to deliver sophisticated advice on M&A, structured liquidity, and corporate governance for technology, AI, and life sciences companies. Mentor junior associates and contribute directly to business development and long-term client relationship cultivation within the Innovation Economy team.
Required Qualifications
- 3–7 years of experience at a leading law firm
- Significant experience with venture capital, growth equity, private company financings, emerging companies, private equity, or related corporate transactions
- California bar admission (or eligibility for admission)
- Excellent drafting, negotiation, and project management skills
- Strong academic credentials
- Outstanding written and oral communication abilities
- Strong entrepreneurial spirit
