Job Summary
Provide business-line counseling to infrastructure engineering and supply chain teams to enable the development, manufacture, deployment, and maintenance of AWS cloud infrastructure technology globally. Structure, draft, and negotiate complex commercial and technology-related agreements, including development, supply, manufacturing services, software licensing, and bespoke contracts. Support business partners on legal, commercial, operational, and other risks while developing vendor engagement and negotiation strategies. Collaborate cross-functionally to identify and resolve commercial, operational, compliance, regulatory, security, safety, legal, and customer/vendor issues. Develop, advise on, and implement standard operating procedures, forms, and internal policies to enable seamless product delivery.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of legal experience
- Juris Doctor and membership in one state bar or equivalent
- Experience in transactional work, including drafting and negotiating commercial contracts or equivalent
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of IT infrastructure, outsourcing, telecommunications, cloud computing services or equivalent
- Knowledge of IT/technology transactions or equivalent
- Experience managing multiple projects and meeting aggressive deadlines
