Job Summary

Own the full Accounts Payable lifecycle, from invoice intake and vendor onboarding to payment execution and W-9 compliance. Manage Accounts Receivable operations, including collections follow-up and aging analysis, while administering corporate credit card programs and reconciling receipts. Post journal entries, assist with accruals, and perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations with clear supporting documentation. Process employee reimbursements and assist in improving internal controls and accounting process rigor. Work cross-functionally with Operations, HR, and external partners to ensure financial accuracy and regulatory compliance. This hands-on, high-ownership role supports the monthly close and financial reporting for Veo's micromobility operations in Santa Monica, CA, offering exposure across accounting, finance, and operational support in a lean, performance-driven startup environment.

Required Qualifications

  • 2–3+ years of accounting experience
  • Experience working in startups
  • know how to operate effectively with lean resources, changing priorities, and ambiguity
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • Strong working knowledge of US GAAP fundamentals
  • Experience supporting month-end close processes
  • Proficiency in Excel / Google Sheets (pivot tables, lookups, basic modeling)
  • Experience working in ERP/accounting systems
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • High attention to detail and documentation discipline
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills

  • Interest in growing into senior accounting or finance roles
