Job Summary
Manage monthly, quarterly, and year-end close activities for Benelux entities while preparing balance sheet reconciliations and supporting documentation. Own selected recurring controllership activities, optimize them through automation or transition to Shared Service Centers, and apply US GAAP alongside local Dutch/Belgian GAAP standards. Act as a key contact for statutory audits by preparing schedules and responding to auditor findings, while coordinating cross-functional reporting with tax, treasury, and shared service centers. Contribute to process documentation and control improvement initiatives within the global controllership organization. Work from the Heerlen office two days per week.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 2 to 5 years of experience in accounting, audit, controllership, or finance operations
- Solid understanding of balance sheet accounts, reconciliations, and statutory accounting principles
- Exposure to US GAAP and/or local statutory accounting
- Fluency in English
- Work from the Heerlen office two days per week
