Job Summary
Apply standard engineering techniques on varied projects spanning semiconductor, advanced manufacturing, life science, and aerospace facilities. Support control system testing, equipment commissioning, and field testing while gathering information and conducting surveys. Plan, design, program, and upgrade PLC, DCS, HMI, and SCADA systems; develop drawings and specifications for construction. Perform equipment selection, cost estimating, and layout planning. Travel up to 20% of the year for off-site locations or client site assignments. Requires a Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering with 0–2 years of experience in PLC programming and HMI or SCADA configuration.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent
- 0 - 2 years of relevant experience in PLC programming and HMI or SCADA configuration
- Willingness to travel up to 20% of the year
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Self-starter with a strong work ethic, curiosity, and a problem-solving mindset
- Ability to use a computer and software programs, such as AutoCAD
