Associate Control Room Operator

Support safe, reliable rail service from the Operations Control Center in Pearl City, monitoring OCC systems, coordinating with field and control room personnel, and contributing to service recovery activities. Requires completing OCC training, obtaining and maintaining Information Control certification, and the ability to operate in a 24/7, safety-sensitive environment. Responsibilities include monitoring CCTV, alarms, SCADA, FDAS, AFC, RMS, radio and other OCC systems; documenting events, maintaining logs and reports; coordinating with Train Controllers, Station Operators, and other stakeholders; and participating in drills, audits, and proficiency checks. Strong verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to follow detailed operating procedures and work instructions are required. Must be able to work rotating shifts, weekends, holidays, overtime, and emergency callouts; must obtain and maintain OCC certifications. Education: High school diploma, technical certificate, or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience preferred.
