Job Summary
Structure acquisition financings, leveraged loans, and bridge facilities for healthcare clients while preparing credit submissions and supporting documentation for the transaction approval process. Conduct financial analysis to build detailed models including cash flow projections and covenant analysis, then manage the pipeline from underwriting through closing and ongoing monitoring. Liaise with middle and back-office functions to ensure seamless execution of wires and settlements, and engage Risk Management teams in credit underwriting and amendments. Monitor client and industry performance, particularly regulatory developments and reimbursement trends, to identify cross-sell opportunities across active Capital Markets products.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Mathematics, or other quantitative discipline
- Minimum 3+ years of relevant experience in Corporate Lending, Corporate Finance, Healthcare Banking, or Credit Analysis
- Strong financial modeling skills, including experience with complex capital structures and covenant frameworks
- Superior writing and presentation skills with ability to prepare detailed credit memoranda
- Strong analytical skills with ability to assess healthcare-specific risks (e.g., reimbursement exposure, regulatory risk, payer mix dynamics)
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship management skills
- Ability to take initiative, operate independently, and thrive in a team-oriented environment
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple transactions and competing deadlines
- Formal credit training
Desired Qualifications
- Master's degree (MBA or related field), CFA or other relevant professional designation, prior sector experience
