Associate Consultant - Rockvile, MD

EHS Associate Consultant to support day-to-day compliance activities in a light manufacturing/industrial environment in Rockville/Gaithersburg, MD. Responsibilities include conducting exposure assessments and planning/executing sampling strategies; analyzing results with sound statistical methods; implementing and maintaining OSHA/EPA/local regulatory programs (hazard communication, waste management, PPE); conducting routine safety inspections, audits, and hazard assessments with action tracking; participating in incident investigations and root cause analysis; developing corrective/preventive actions; managing environmental programs including hazardous waste handling under RCRA; delivering and coordinating EHS training (safety orientation, toolbox talks, Job Hazard Analyses); maintaining documentation, metrics, and dashboards to support compliance and audits; collaborating with operations and maintenance to foster a proactive safety culture; supporting contractor safety oversight. Ideal candidate has 5–8 years of EHS experience in manufacturing/industrial settings; strong communication skills; ability to work in fast-paced environments and either temporary or permanent assignments with organizational approval.
