Job Summary
Develop improvement strategies and lead project teams to drive manufacturing improvements, supply chain optimization, and capital expansion initiatives. Perform assessments utilizing analytical skills to identify root causes, collect data, and document client requirements to define solutions. Manage projects within scope and budget while establishing high-performance teams and leading daily coordination with production, quality, maintenance, and supply chain stakeholders. Present executive-level updates and final project summaries to clients and translate technical concepts for broad audiences. Requires a Bachelor's degree in science or engineering, 3-6 years of experience including floor time, and knowledge of Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma. Hybrid work requires minimum three days in the office with flexible scheduling based on client needs.
Required Qualifications
- A Bachelor's degree in a science or engineering discipline
- 3-6 years of professional experience
- At least 3 years working on the production floor
- At least 2 years with a proven track record of delivering successful projects in manufacturing
- Be well versed in operational excellence methodologies
- Be passionate about clients
- Dedicated to delivering high-quality solutions
- Have demonstrated flexibility and the willingness to tailor your approach specifically based on IPM's methodologies and clients' needs
- Be comfortable functioning as either an individual consultant or in a team-based role on a broader engagement, with a focus on delivery and implementation
- Have the ability to lead multiple activities and resources while maintaining a focus on quality
- Exceptional interpersonal and leadership skills to effectively communicate and build relationships with a broad spectrum of audiences at all organizational levels
- Translating technical concepts into broadly understood terms
- Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.
- IPM's hybrid work environment requires a minimum of three days in the office
