Job Summary
HEOR Associate Consultant role focused on outcomes research and patient-centered solutions at IQVIA Japan. Responsibilities include designing and conducting outcome research studies, conducting and analyzing qualitative interviews (Concept Elicitation, Cognitive Debriefing), performing quantitative analyses, supporting IRB submissions, preparing client proposals and reports in both Japanese and English, and collaborating with clients and internal teams to deliver value in drug development, market access, and value demonstration. Requires public health/epidemiology experience, native-level Japanese and business-level English, and familiarity with qualitative and quantitative methods (e.g., PROs, DCEs, Delphi panels); experience with NVivo/Atlas.ti and cross-functional coordination is preferred. Location options are Tokyo or Osaka with a hybrid work arrangement; flexible remote work policy is available.
Required Qualifications
- Public health/epidemiology experience
- Japanese native level, English business level
- Interest in outcomes research and HEOR
- Experience with qualitative and quantitative analysis
- Familiarity with interview methodologies (Concept Elicitation, Cognitive Debriefing) and IRB processes
- Ability to design studies and support client communications
- Experience with NVivo/Atlas.ti or similar qualitative analysis tools
- Ability to manage timelines and deliverables in a fast-paced environment
