Job Summary
Associate Consultant will manage Group Annuity administration activities for various plans and play a role in managing client relationships. Responsibilities include client relationship management, coordinating full spectrum of admin services, invoicing based on contract scope, escalating operational issues, verifying benefit calculations and annual statements, ensuring compliance with pension plan rules and legislation, participating in system testing, identifying and implementing process improvements, leading daily and year-end functions, and mentoring/leading team members. Requires consultative skills, project leadership, pension knowledge, and ability to apply best practices to support the Group Annuity Administration Team. Salary range and benefits are provided; bilingualism and solid MS Office skills are assets.
Required Qualifications
- Five - seven years of related DB Pension Administration experience
- Post-secondary education; CEBS or PPAC designation is an asset
- Strong knowledge of provincial pension and tax legislation
- Excellent communication, project management, presentation and negotiation skills
- Bilingualism (English and French) is an asset
