Job Summary

Associate Consultant on the Employee Health & Benefits team delivering exceptional customer service and providing employee benefit expertise to help clients understand how insurance solutions support long-term strategies. You will collaborate with sales professionals, consultants, and insurance carrier partners to grow team and client success, assist with coordination, development and execution of project plans and presentations, support RFPs, renewals and implementations, pull and analyze benchmark survey data, maintain vendor relationships, understand negotiable elements of underwriting for all lines of coverage, manage post-implementation processes, coordinate renewal data and ERISA documents, respond to client inquiries, review plans for design accuracy, conduct initial research, assist with open enrollment communications, and coordinate billing and claim issues between clients and vendors. Ideal candidates will have experience with employee benefits, knowledge of HIPAA, FMLA, COBRA, ACA, DOL requirements, and Life & Health licensure or commitment to obtaining it within 6 months; the role emphasizes collaboration across internal staff, clients, prospects, and vendors, with a culture aligned to integrity, collaboration, passion, innovation, and accountability.

Required Qualifications

  • Prior experience working with employee benefits and knowledge of various lines of insurance coverage; medical, dental, life, STD, LTD, design, rate structures, etc.
