Job Summary
Associate Consultant in Data Warehousing design and implementation roles responsible for translating business requirements into technical data-warehouse and reporting solutions, evaluating and optimizing ETL processes and database performance, defining scope with project leadership, synthesizing findings into actionable recommendations, presenting results to clients and internal teams, distilling complex concepts for stakeholders, managing timelines and budgets, serving as a key client contact for DW implementation, monitoring progress and risks, supporting management with employee development and internal initiatives, and collaborating with leadership on process improvement or innovation initiatives. Requires a Master’s degree in a relevant field, 2-4 years of consulting experience, strong data management, modeling, and analytics skills, proficiency with SQL, Python, R, Tableau, and PowerBI, and the ability to work with US clients during overlapping US hours.
Required Qualifications
- Engineering/Master’s Degree from a Tier-I/Tier-II institution/university in Computer Science or relevant concentration
- 2-4 years of relevant consulting-industry experience
- Deep understanding of data management best practices, data modeling and data analytics
- Familiarity with data visualization and business intelligence tools like Tableau and PowerBI, including their integration with ETL outputs
- Strong understanding of U.S. pharmaceutical datasets and their applications
- Logical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products & data analysis tools (e.g., SQL, Python, R)
- Strong project management and people management skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational abilities and effective time management skills
- Ability to thrive in an international matrix environment and willingness to support US clients during US working hours with 3-4 hours of overlap
- Awareness of latest technologies related to cloud platform services, visualization, data management
