Job Summary
Lead analytical and consultancy projects within Client Analytics, designing complex modelling assignments using CRA data assets. Support delivery of analytical projects including credit strategy development, scorecard and model development, and performance analysis. Perform statistical analysis using SQL and Python to solve business problems and communicate results to generate improved decisions. Manage multiple projects delivering revenue, provide support to Sales teams for proposal writing, and deliver professional presentations to audiences ranging from junior staff to the Board.
Required Qualifications
- Relevant numerical degree with a 2:1 or above
- Strong experience working in UK credit risk
- Proficiency using SQL and Python
- Experience in all stages of credit strategy, scorecard and model development
- Understanding of the regulatory landscape with respect to consumer credit and consumer duty and the potential impact to our clients
- Ability to communicate analytical results to generate improved business decisions and profitability
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate with team members and clients at various levels, including business leaders
Desired Qualifications
- An innovative mindset, with experience identifying opportunities that deliver incremental business benefit through leveraging of data and analytics
- Previous experience of working with credit bureau data
- Previous consultancy experience
- Additional languages desirable are VBA or Google Apps Script
- Cloud experience and use of Git/Github
