Associate Consultant

Associate Consultant (Product Risk Specialist) supports live product risk and recall response, including activation of recall cases and regulatory-driven events, while independently managing assigned response-support and documentation tasks with guidance from senior consultants. Responsibilities include case management and administrative support (documentation, timelines, invoicing, Salesforce), writing case summaries, and ensuring compliance with PRR standards. Provides regulatory and technical research on applicable food safety requirements (e.g., FSA, DEFRA, EU General Food Law, FDA, USDA), assists with client-facing materials and response plans, and collaborates with UK/European/global PRR teams to ensure consistent service delivery. Requires strong organizational, written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail, ability to work under pressure, on-call participation, and a collaborative mindset. Education and experience: Bachelor’s degree in related field and 2–5 years in food safety/quality/compliance; HACCP/PCQI or equivalent certifications are preferred. This role emphasizes on-call, after-hours response work, confidentiality, and professional judgment in incident analysis and response decision-making.
