Job Summary
Serve as the primary point of contact for advisor inquiries regarding LPL Research, responding to inbound calls, emails, and internal requests with clear guidance on market commentary, portfolio strategy, and asset allocation. Help advisors locate and interpret relevant research materials, including model portfolios and investment committee perspectives, while partnering with research strategists and analysts to resolve complex questions. Maintain a strong working knowledge of LPL Research views and platforms to support advisor education and identify workflow friction points for process improvements. Document common inquiries, share learnings across the team, and contribute to initiatives that enhance the efficiency of the Ask LPL Research function.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field, or equivalent financial services experience
- SIE FINRA Series 7 and Series 66 licenses, or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire
- Advisor-first mindset with a commitment to service excellence
- Clear, confident, and professional communication style
- Strong investigative and problem-solving skills
- Ability to simplify complex investment research topics for practical advisor use

Desired Qualifications
- Prior experience supporting financial advisors, investment professionals, or client-facing wealth management teams
- Familiarity with investment research, model portfolios, market commentary, asset allocation, mutual funds, ETFs, alternatives, SMAs, or advisory platforms
- Experience working on a service desk, product desk, research support, or advisor support environment
- Demonstrated interest in investment markets, portfolio construction, and advisor education
