Job Summary
Collect construction materials samples from various job sites and perform tests and inspections to assess material properties and integrity using specialized equipment. Document findings and communicate results to project managers and stakeholders to facilitate informed decision-making and maintain structural safety. Travel to diverse locations in all terrain and weather conditions while utilizing a company truck, receiving applicable PPE, and working with a company-issued laptop.
Required Qualifications
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to contribute and work well on a team
- 3+ years of experience in construction observation, inspection, testing, or a related field
- Valid driver's license with a good driving history
- The ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner
- You will independently collect construction materials samples from various construction sites
- perform tests and inspections to assess the properties and integrity of those materials
- using specialized equipment and following established procedures and standards
- document your findings and communicate results to project managers and other stakeholders

Desired Qualifications
- Associate degree from a technical or four-year school, preferred but not required
- American Concrete Institute (ACI) Grade 1, International Code Council (ICC) Nuclear Gauge, or applicable Department of Transportation/Road certifications, preferred but not required
