Job Summary
Develop task order proposals, track budgets and activity schedules, and monitor on-site subcontractors while implementing product quality standards. Ensure project completion within budget and schedule by reviewing contracts, managing subcontractors, and monitoring financials. Develop design schedules, resolve field-initiated questions with the technical design team, and coordinate project deliverables with all parties. Participate in design review meetings, maintain client relationships, and ensure subcontractor compliance with safety standards and energy conservation measures. Assist with business development and review commissioning protocols. Requires 2+ years of construction project management experience, ability to work irregular hours, and 40-60% travel or relocation.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to work irregular hours during implementation
- Demonstrated ability to function in high performing, multi-disciplinary teams that provide reliable customer satisfaction
- Ability to anticipate challenges and proactively resolve them
- Experience and competency with Project Management Software (MS Project, Primavera, Procore, etc.)
- Proven aptitude along with strong writing and speaking skills

- Detail-oriented and honed observation skills
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, creative problem-solving, and leadership skills
- Ability to anticipate and solve problems that are not fully defined or expected
- Willingness to travel 40-60% of the time or relocate
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelors degree preferred, specifically in engineering or construction management
- 2+ years of relevant experience in construction project management or project engineering, the technical degree may be considered in lieu of experience
- A passion in the areas of energy efficiency, alternative energy, and sustainability
- OSHA-30 certification preferred
