Job Summary
Senior Associate, Construction overseeing development and construction projects within client portfolios. Responsibilities include supporting the construction and asset management team with deals involving construction or capital expenditure projects; analyzing construction progress to identify risks and opportunities; preparing comprehensive cost and design review reporting for development projects; researching market trends for material and labor costs; conducting monthly site visits for debt deals and preparing monitoring reports; managing lender draw and pay applications; liaising with operating partners, borrowers, and asset management to ensure business plan execution; evaluating value engineering against time and scheduling constraints to reduce costs without compromising project integrity; developing institutional knowledge through case studies and internal databases; overseeing successful completion of projects and contributing to reporting enhancements. 5+ years of experience in general contracting, development, construction management, architectural, or engineering disciplines; proficiency with construction software tools and LEED/Sustainability knowledge emphasized.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree required
- PMP, LEED Certification preferred
- General contracting, developer, construction management, architectural, or engineering experience preferred
- 5 years' relevant experience
- Client-facing experience preferred
