Job Summary
Gather and verify client documentation for new onboarding, including business formation records and beneficial ownership details, while running risk assessments against established frameworks. Escalate discrepancies, suspicious activity, or potential compliance issues to senior staff and coordinate with sales and operations to collect outstanding information. Maintain accurate onboarding files, support periodic account reviews, and assist in preparing compliance reports and updating policies. Utilize compliance technology platforms to process tasks and input data accurately.
Required Qualifications
- 1–2 years of experience in compliance, finance, banking, or a related operations role
- Working understanding of BSA/AML, OFAC, and FinCEN requirements, including CDD and KYB concepts
- Ability to manage a queue independently, prioritize across competing deadlines, and meet required service levels
- Comfort working in compliance technology platforms and learning new systems quickly
- Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the judgment to know when to escalate
- Standard weekday schedule; occasional flexibility may be needed to meet onboarding volume
