Job Summary
Support account teams through client acquisition, relationship management, and credit management processes while providing transactional support for client-specific financing solutions. Assist Relationship Managers in coordinating sales cycle activities, executing business development initiatives, and identifying growth opportunities to meet client needs. Conduct comprehensive industry and prospect research, prepare analyses for credit submissions including structuring and documentation, and proactively assess client requirements to propose tailored financial solutions. Interact with assigned clients to facilitate prompt responses to inquiries and issues, ensuring best-in-class service delivery. This role prepares candidates for a future as a Relationship Manager within CIBC's Commercial Banking team, focusing on delivering flexible business solutions and strategic advice to help clients realize their goals.
Required Qualifications
- demonstrate experience in financial statements and accounting principles including valuation techniques and cash flow analysis
- degree/diploma in Business, Finance, Accounting, or related field
- legally eligible to work at the location(s) specified above
- valid work or study permit
