Job Summary
Conduct daily face-to-face support, rapport building, and teaching with persons served in group home or residential treatment center settings. Establish support systems and provide activities and learning experiences to increase the person's capacity for independent community living. Model appropriate behaviors and offer direct care within a clinical or counseling psychology framework. Requires a Bachelor's degree in clinical psychology, social work, nursing, or a related mental health field.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in clinical or counseling psychology, social work, nursing, vocational/psychiatric rehabilitation, education or other mental health field from an accredited college or university
- registered nurse with direct experience in mental health field
- direct care experience
- 'at-risk' experience
- comparable experience
