Job Summary
Conduct psychosocial assessments to understand clients' psychological, emotional, and social needs, then create individualized care plans based on findings. Deliver therapeutic services through individual, group, and family sessions while responding to crisis situations with appropriate support. Advocate for clients to access necessary resources and connect them with community support services, ensuring continuity of care. Maintain accurate, confidential client records and ensure adherence to ethical guidelines and legal regulations. Engage in regular supervision with a licensed clinical social worker and participate in ongoing training to enhance clinical skills. Work with healthcare professionals and community organizations to provide holistic care, while occasionally lifting up to 20 pounds in a clinic environment.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in social work (MSW): Completion of an accredited MSW program
- Certification as an Associate Clinical Social Worker
- One year of experience as a social worker
- Proficiency in individual, group, and family therapy techniques
- Ability to conduct thorough psychosocial assessments
- Skills to handle and de-escalate crisis situations effectively
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for interacting with clients, families, and other professionals
- Ability to understand and relate to clients' experiences and emotions
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
