Job Summary
Transitional leadership role toward becoming a center clinical P&L leader, with accountability for outcomes and steering the center’s clinical performance. The CMD leads a care team, oversees patient care and outcomes for a panel of patients, coaches patients toward health goals, and drives weekly meetings (Super Huddle, Transforming Care Meeting) while partnering with Center Manager/Center General Manager to improve clinical quality, efficiency, and patient satisfaction. The role includes collaboration with hospitalists, involvement in risk and quality programs, and progression toward the Senior Medical Director role through ChenMed Leadership Pathways and training. Strong leadership, cross-functional coordination, and focus on delivering value-based care are essential, with salary in the posted range and potential eligibility for bonuses or commissions.
