Job Summary
Demonstrate the value and impact of the Impella® product portfolio to physicians and hospital staff in the Eastern Long Island territory. Advise Interventional Cardiologists and Surgeons on patient selection, partner on training, and attend implants to enable appropriate device use. Improve patient outcomes through education, clinical demos, and ongoing training for new and existing accounts. Collect clinically relevant data, complete outcome reviews with customers, and communicate activities with sales counterparts. Set up 1:1 physician meetings, host dinner programs, and collaborate on awareness activities while utilizing Integrity Selling to drive usage. Travel 50% within the territory and take calls for emergent patient care.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of direct RN/NP/PA or Reg Tech patient support in an ICU, CVICU, Cath Lab or Cardiovascular OR experience
- 2+ years of commercial sales experience related to products and technologies utilized in the cardiovascular space
- Ability to advance sales process with customers
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Availability to take call for emergent patient care
- Experience delivering demonstrations and successful trainings
- Ability to travel 50% within territory
- Conduct duties and responsibilities in accordance with all state and federal laws and regulations governing the medical device industry
Desired Qualifications
- Hands on Impella support experience
- Experience as an Abiomed per diem
- RN License
- ECMO experience
- Strong interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to advocate with physicians
- Experience delivering clinical training
