Job Summary
Associate Clinical Consultant/Clinical Consultant in Wichita, KS to demonstrate the value and impact of Impella cardiovascular product portfolio to physicians and hospital staff. Responsibilities include advising Interventional Cardiologists and Surgeons on patient selection, training collaboration, attending implants, and developing a working knowledge of products/therapies for applications. You will deliver clinical demos, coordinate 1:1 physician meetings, host physician/staff programs, conduct outcomes data reviews, and collaborate with the sales team on awareness activities. Requires clinical support and sales experience in cardiovascular settings, ability to travel 50% within the territory, and a strong focus on education and training to improve patient outcomes. RN/NP/PA or Reg Tech background with cardiovascular exposure is preferred; RN license strongly preferred; ECMO experience and Abiomed per diem experience are advantageous. Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of direct RN/NP/PA or Reg Tech patient support in an ICU, CVICU, Cath Lab or Cardiovascular OR experience
- 2+ years of commercial sales experience related to products and technologies utilized in the cardiovascular space
- Ability to advance sales process with customers required
- Ability to work in a team environment required
- Availability to take call for emergent patient care
- Experience delivering demonstrations and successful trainings
- RN License strongly preferred
- ECMO experience
- Hands on Impella support experience strongly preferred
