Job Summary
Conduct client education, answer queries, and collaborate internally on new inquiries while learning the intricacies of the Rating Evaluation Service. Prepare recurring and ad hoc financial reports for senior management and support project requests by preparing prospect lists and providing market-specific data. Maintain Salesforce Administrator duties, including ensuring compliance with corporate record-keeping policies, managing team opportunities, and delivering quarterly lead referral updates. Work on data support requests from Business Operation Services and handle sensitive information with discretion. This role supports the Business Development team in the Americas, focusing on commercial interactions and revenue data management.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in areas of study of Business, Economics or related field
- 2 to 3 years of job-related experience
- Knowledge of insurance ratings and their usefulness in the insurance industry and the financial services industry in general
- Ability to interpret financial data
- Demonstrated ability to support professional and constructive commercial interactions
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
- Excellent communicator (particularly written communication due to the detailed and regulated nature of work)
- Excellent organizational, time management, and planning skills along with strong attention to details
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point) and have the ability to learn new software
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment as part of the larger Business Development team
Desired Qualifications
- Rating agency or Insurance industry experience is a plus
- Experience with data visualization or reporting tools (e.g. PowerBI) is a plus
