Job Summary
On-site role in Nutley, NJ (2 days per week at client headquarters) focused on delivering industry insights and data-driven recommendations to delight clients. Responsibilities include leveraging NIQ tools to answer business questions, responding to briefing sessions with analytical outlines, visualizing data, presenting insights and actionable recommendations, driving customer satisfaction, identifying revenue leads and partnering with Account Lead to convert them into opportunities, coaching junior team members, and contributing to Thought Leadership Projects. Required experience in the CPG industry or related sales/market research (2-5 years), familiarity with NIQ or similar analytics solutions (POS & Panel data preferred), strong Excel/PowerPoint skills, excellent English, and a proven ability to turn data into compelling stories for clients.
Required Qualifications
- 2-5 years of experience in the CPG industry and/or related sales, category management, market research
- Prior experience with NielsenIQ (or similar) solutions preferred in analytics space, including POS & Panel data
- Strong analytical mind and excellent numerical skills
- Excellent command of both written and spoken English
- Expert knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Curious person who likes building stories based on data to answer business questions
- Digital savvy & fast learner of concepts/ tools
- Ability to coach others in data analyses and working with the NIQ tools
