Job Summary
Early-career Associate Client Analyst in Broadridge’s Governance research team supporting proxy voting for internal partners and clients. Responsibilities include reviewing SEC filings and proxy materials to capture key facts, maintaining governance data with quality checks, applying documented client policy instructions on meeting items, conducting routine research and reporting on proxy voting activity and governance trends, extracting and organizing data in Excel, and collaborating with teammates to resolve data or process issues while developing subject matter knowledge. The role emphasizes structured, supervised work with increasing independence, training, and mentorship in a hybrid work setting.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent
- Approximately 1 year of relevant experience in corporate governance, proxy voting, research, financial markets, data operations, or related area preferred
- Internship or early-career experience involving document review, data analysis, reporting, or operations is helpful
- Be able to follow process, produce reliable work, and continue developing skills under the guidance of senior analysts and managers
- Be able to manage recurring tasks, prioritize deadlines, and maintain quality during high-volume periods
- Be comfortable reviewing detailed documents and working through structured assignments with care and accuracy
- Be organized, detail-oriented, and responsive to feedback and coaching
- Exercise sound judgment in routine situations and know when to raise questions or escalate issues
- Communicate clearly and work effectively in a collaborative team environment
- Tools: Excel proficiency and familiarity with internal systems; Python a plus
- Interest in financial markets, governance, and proxy voting mechanics
- Willingness to participate in hybrid interview process and adhere to company policies
