Job Summary

Partner closely with the Chief of Staff to develop business context, establish relationships, and complete a structured transition of priorities before a three-month maternity leave. Maintain the operating cadence of the Executive Office during the leave by coordinating CEO-facing priorities, critical meetings, and communications while preparing the CEO for key decisions through concise analyses and briefing materials. Manage scheduling, business travel, and expense reports for the CEO and Chief of Staff, ensuring appropriate preparation and follow-up. Lead priority cross-functional initiatives from planning through execution, synthesize complex information into decision-oriented recommendations, and own defined Executive Office workstreams. Support Board and investor engagements by preparing executives for external presentations and partnering with Investor Relations on earnings materials. Provide flexible support for high-priority assignments and anticipate needs to resolve administrative or logistical issues with minimal direction.

Required Qualifications

  • MBA
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 3-6 years of relevant experience in management or strategy consulting, life sciences, corporate strategy, business operations, business development, investor relations, finance or a comparable fast-paced environment
  • Experience in a publicly traded biotechnology or pharmaceutical company
  • Demonstrated ability to independently manage complex projects and produce executive-level analyses, presentations and written communications
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint, Excel, Word and Outlook
  • Ability to travel periodically based on business needs
  • Exceptional judgment, maturity and discretion, with a demonstrated ability to protect highly confidential and sensitive information and recognize when escalation is appropriate
  • High emotional intelligence and strong situational awareness, with the ability to build trust, read interpersonal dynamics and work effectively with the CEO, senior executives, Board members and colleagues at all levels
  • Ability to make sound, timely decisions in ambiguous situations using available information and judgment, including knowing when to act independently and when to seek input
  • Excellent analytical, project management and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and senior stakeholders
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills and the ability to distill complex information into concise, decision-oriented materials
  • Highly organized, proactive and accountable, with strong attention to detail, follow-through and a bias toward timely action
  • High responsiveness to urgent business needs, including occasional availability outside normal working hours when executive or Company priorities require it
  • Collaborative, low-ego and hands-on, with a willingness to engage in both strategic work and essential administrative execution
  • Intellectual curiosity, strong business judgment and an interest in developing toward a broader operating or functional leadership role
