Job Summary
Provide strategic and operational leadership for mid-to-long-term objectives by interpreting and implementing company-wide policies to improve clinical workflow and business processes. Lead delivery of innovative solutions for dialysis, hemodiafiltration, and vascular access care, developing new protocols where established ones require interpretation. Serve as a subject matter expert in nephrology and internal medicine, offering evidence-based guidance to internal and external partners on clinical quality, patient safety, and operational standards. Direct activities of assigned business units, oversee clinical quality metrics and KPIs, and counsel the Chief Clinical Officer on medical advisory boards and process improvements. Maintain familiarity with regulatory changes and reimbursement environments to ensure SME-based guidance aligns with business realities. Assist legal and compliance teams and support operational excellence efforts as requested.
Required Qualifications
- Successful completion of an ACGME accredited residency program in internal medicine
- Successful completion of an ACGME accredited fellowship in nephrology
- Current ABIM certification in nephrology
- At least 10+ years post-fellowship training experience in clinical nephrology
