Job Summary
Deliver and arrange chaplaincy and spiritual care to patients, family caregivers, and team members while responding timely to requests for support. Participate in religious and worship opportunities, promote a professional atmosphere through courteous communication, and provide active listening and emotional support to patient concerns. Document records, facilitate sacraments and holidays, and coordinate clergy and pastoral visitors from the religious community. Perform duties under direct guidance with straightforward assignments of moderate complexity. Requires a Bachelor's degree, four Clinical Pastoral Education units, and 0-1 years of healthcare chaplaincy experience.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree
- Completion of four (4) Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE) Units (1600 hours) or equivalent within a healthcare setting, from an accredited CPE center/program
- Endorsement or recommendation by spiritual or religious organization
- 0-1 years of relevant healthcare Chaplaincy experience
