Job Summary
Coordinate weekly Chapel Services, preaching and celebrating communion, while fostering student leadership in worship and on-campus programming. Oversee Care Ministries including the F.R.I.E.N.D.S. Pantry and Emergency Aid Fund, providing pastoral care to students, faculty, and staff as designated Clergy Confidential Resource for Title IX incidents. Lead the RSL Student Leadership Team, supervising student workers and directing events like Cookouts and Movie Nights. Serve as liaison to the United Methodist Church, visiting local congregations to preach, teach, and recruit prospective students. Monitor departmental budgets, prepare quarterly reports for the University Board of Trustees, and direct the Chapel Band Leader and Administrative Assistant.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or commensurate years of experience in full-time ministry
- Minimum of 2-Years experience in College Ministry, Youth Ministry, Pastoral Ministry, or other closely related field
- Commitment to the Wesleyan theological tradition and the United Methodist Church
Desired Qualifications
- Graduate theological degree (MDiv, MTS, or MACP/MACM) from an accredited seminary
- Ordination or Local Pastor Licensure in the United Methodist Church (or in process for ordination/licensure)
- 3-5 Years experience in full time ministry setting
