Job Summary
As an Associate Category Merchandiser at Nebraska Furniture Mart, you will maintain sales floor displays, assist in the buying function, ensure products are tagged accurately, and support marketing preparations. Responsibilities include tagging with new or replacement tags, ensuring product conformance to conditions, maintaining POS vendor information, coordinating ad information, and generating reports on promo performance. Qualifications include a high school diploma/GED, 1 year of customer contact, 1-2 years merchandising experience, data-entry ability, MS Office proficiency (Outlook, Word, Excel), and availability for night/weekend/early-morning hours; pre-employment screening is required. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma/GED preferred
- 1-year customer contact with internal or external customers
- 1-2 years merchandising experience preferred
- Ability to enter data quickly
- Computer skills and ability to navigate through MS Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.)
- Ability to work night, weekend and/or early morning hours based on business needs
