Job Summary
Associate Category Manager I - Feedstock Logistics at Chemours in Wilmington, DE. Responsible for coordinating ore/fluorspar shipping, maintaining detailed shipping and inventory records, managing site inventories, and negotiating spot POs and multi-year contracts. Will supervise junior miners, monitor offload port activities, analyze expenditures, optimize shipping costs, perform goods receipts and invoice approvals, and provide market intelligence to guide strategic shipping decisions. Requires a Bachelor's degree and strong Excel skills (macros, pivot tables), plus excellent analytical, organizational, and interpersonal abilities. Role emphasizes collaboration with planning and procurement teams to ensure efficient supply chains for raw materials like titanium ores and fluorspar, with a focus on reliability, cost optimization, and compliance across global logistics operations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain management, engineering, or similar
- Proficient in MS Excel (creating macros, pivot tables, etc.)
- Exceptional analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
