Associate Cash Accountant

Job Summary
Associate Cash Accountant responsible for resolving issues in daily cash balancing across payments (lockbox, credit cards, ACH, wires), researching unidentified payments, coordinating with the disbursement team on misdirected cash, assisting with cash clearing and month-end close, and supporting cash management for projects. The role partners with A/R, Reporting, and Credit and Collections to resolve remittance issues, identify payment trends, prepare adjustments/GL entries, and ensure aged items are completed within SLA. Requires an Associates degree in finance/accounting or 1-2 years of equivalent experience, with strong Excel/MS Office skills and SAP knowledge a plus. Additional duties include CSR and 1099 filings, bank reconciliations, and other related or special projects.
Required Qualifications
- Associates degree in finance, accounting or 1-2 years of equivalent education and experience
- Experience in Accounts Receivable, Accounting or Cash Application preferred
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills
- Strong attention to detail and time management
- Excellent written and verbal communications
- Strong skills in excel and other MS office products
- SAP knowledge a plus
