Job Summary
Interact directly with US clients to perform categorizations of bank and credit card transactions, post entries in GL and sub-ledger, and execute cash applications. Manage GL, AP, AR accounting, fixed assets, inventory, and payroll while computing depreciation, cleaning books, and preparing trial balances, financial statements, and ad hoc reports. Liaise with clients and auditors to close books and coordinate with the ISMS core team for implementation strategies. Requires 3+ years of US accounting experience with hands-on software proficiency and direct client interaction.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in US accounting
- direct interaction with US clients
- knowledge of US GAAP
- Hands-on experience in commonly used accounting software like QBO, Sage, Zoho, Netsuite etc.
- Ability and confidence to work independently or with minimum supervision
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Entrepreneurial mindset
- Must have worked on any one or more of the following industries: Consumer Business/ Retail, Hospitality, Healthcare, Life Science, Logistics/Supply Chain, Private Equity, Constructions, Manufacturing, Staffing/Labor Management
