Job Summary
Maintain accurate records of extern students, active employers, and students while managing documents including timesheets, attendance logs, and essential employer paperwork to ensure compliance. Serve as a liaison between Career Services and the Education Department for Last Day of Attendance reports, Initial Site Visits, and schedule coordination. Prepare visuals, presentations, and sign-in sheets for Senior Day and Externship Orientations, while following up with class completers and ensuring all packets, post-assessments, and checklists are maintained. Assist the Director of Career Services in obtaining externship data for reporting and managing the ECPP population. Adhere to state and federal accreditation rules and institute regulations regarding externship compliance.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma
- Solid understanding of the Student and Extern life cycle within a school setting and/or the Career Services externship process
- Excellent communication, customer service and interpersonal skills, including superior problem solving, organization and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to work with people from a variety of diverse social and economic backgrounds
- Ability to professionally represent the campus in the employment community
- Ability to work independently and adapt to change
- High energy, assertive, results driven and highly ethical
- Computer proficiency in Word, PowerPoint and Excel
