Job Summary
Create submittal drawings using Inventor 3D or AutoCAD 2D software and evaluate quotes for accuracy against basic design standards. Log daily work completed via tracking software and clearly communicate results and underlying risks. Work closely with CAD II and CAD III designers for advanced learning while making appropriate decisions using decision support tools. Report directly to the Design Engineering Manager at the Parsons, Tennessee plant. Complete required safety training within six months and wear all necessary P.P.E.
Required Qualifications
- Basic communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic knowledge of Inventor 3D design and/or AutoCAD 2D software
- Basic knowledge of MS Office software
- Ability to perform basic design drafting tasks via standard drawing techniques under close supervision
- Basic knowledge of a variety of raw materials, including plastics, aluminum, and stainless steel
- Ability to read and use measuring devices
- Ability to operate standard office equipment
- Completion of training required by the safety/training matrix within 6 months, or within time constraints set by regulations
- Ability to wear all Personal Protective Equipment (P.P.E.) required, by company policy, for the job being performed
- Must be available for the plant location in Parsons, Tennessee
