Job Summary
Associate Buyer for Sports licensed apparel, based in New York City, operating in a hybrid capacity. Responsible for supporting development of licensed apparel assortments, analyzing sales trends and customer insights, collaborating with Planning and cross-functional teams, negotiating vendor terms, and tracking shipments to drive sales and margin in an omnichannel environment. Requires analytical strength, trend-awareness, and ability to translate insights into product opportunities; prior experience in retail/e-commerce merchandising or buying and proficiency in Excel (Power BI a plus). Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in retail or e-commerce merchandising, buying, or a related field
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Proficiency in Excel; experience with tools such as Power BI or assortment planning systems is a plus
