Job Summary
Associate Business Development Manager – Field Service at Fike Corporation focuses on developing and managing long-term service relationships with key customers across Explosion Protection, shaping enterprise-level service solutions, and expanding recurring service business. The role collaborates with regional sales, field service, engineering, and operations teams to align customer service strategies with Fike capabilities, develops and manages strategic account plans, and coordinates enterprise-level proposal development, presentations, negotiations, and contract discussions. The position emphasizes building sustainable service programs (inspection plans, preventative maintenance, annual service agreements, rebuild programs) and maintaining accurate CRM records, with regular travel to support client engagements and field activities.
Required Qualifications
- REQUIRED: Bachelor’s degree in marketing, engineering, business, or related discipline or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience
- Two years of experience in Explosion Protection or comparative technology, selling complex industrial products and solutions, and commercial activity in major global markets are preferred
- Experience working with technologies in regulated industries, specifically the safety industry is desired
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills and/or robust sales experience
- Travels as required to support customer relationships, strategic meetings, and field engagement activities
- Will be required to speak to groups and make presentations to key clients
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, engineering, business, or related discipline
- Two years of experience in Explosion Protection or comparative technology
- Experience selling complex industrial products and solutions
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally
- Master’s degree in a related technical field or an MBA (preferred)
- Bilingual (preferred)
- SalesForce (SFDC) experience (preferred)
- G-Suite experience (preferred)
- Experience with mechanical systems (preferred)
- Proven success in leading business development efforts (preferred)
