Job Summary
Forecast existing and future business by developing annual revenue forecasts for all portfolio products using regression analyses and market assessments. Lead forecast and valuation for pipeline assets, partnering with Business Development to determine value and present Go/No Go recommendations. Serve as the expert on CMS ASP pricing, developing quarterly projections and leading strategic pricing strategies that maximize profitability while adhering to government regulations. Analyze payer bids for medical and pharmacy coverages, presenting recommendations to leadership and strengthening market access positioning. Improve business processes, including ASP development and forecasting workflows, by incorporating AI and streamlining data collection. Present complex analytical projects and business strategies to senior leadership, aligning pricing tactics with Marketing, Sales, and Finance.
Required Qualifications
- Familiarity with both medical and pharmacy payer / reimbursement dynamics
- Ability to effectively work with all stakeholders including Marketing, Sales, Commercial Operations & Contracting, and Finance
- Ability to develop and update annual revenue forecasts for existing/near term launch products based on detailed market assessments
- Ability to use regression analyses and other analytical tools for forecasting
- Ability to present financials and business strategy to Sr. leadership
- Ability to determine the value for new business opportunities and present outcome / recommendations to management
- Ability to lead and present complex analytical projects
- Ability to make recommendations on business strategies and pricing decisions
- Ability to lead the analysis / recommendation on life cycle management opportunities
- Ability to determine financial impact / tradeoffs for various GTM launch scenarios
- Ability to determine appropriate IC targets by Product / key business area on a quarterly basis
- Ability to determine impact of select pricing changes (i.e. WAC) and present recommendations
- Ability to provide strategic support to Sales / Com Ops / Marketing organizations
- Ability to create detailed analysis of all PAYER/PBM bids for medical and pharmacy coverages
- Ability to develop and present outcome of analysis and BID recommendations to Market Access and Bioscience leadership
- Ability to support development of value propositions, value evidence strategies, and pricing narratives
- Ability to serve as the organization's expert on ASP strategy
- Ability to develop quarterly ASP projections
- Ability to lead the development, evaluation and recommendation of complex strategic pricing strategies
- Ability to ensure pricing projections reflect government pricing regulations and market realities
- Ability to stay informed on legislative and regulatory developments impacting pricing and reimbursement
- Ability to assess implications of legislative and regulatory developments for brand strategy
- Ability to improve key business processes with an emphasis on figuring out how AI can improve work processes
- Ability to develop ASP development / projection process including partner selection, data collection and approach to identify and evaluate strategic pricing options
- Ability to develop forecasting process including streamlining the process to load data into models and incorporating the use of regression analyses
- Ability to streamline the Payer BID analytic development/evaluation process
