Job Summary
As an Associate in the Building Structures team, you will lead project management and technical delivery of innovative and sustainable designs for diverse, high-profile projects, including high-rise buildings and stadiums. Responsibilities include mentoring junior team members, maintaining strong relationships with clients, and managing the technical and commercial aspects of projects. A Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field and Chartered status are required, along with significant experience in structural engineering and design.
Required Qualifications
- Degree or HNC/HND qualification in a relevant discipline
- Chartered (MIStructE / MICE)
- Proven track record of successful design delivery in major multi-disciplinary building projects
- Project management and technical delivery leadership experience of medium to large schemes
- Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills
- Significant experience of team management responsibilities
- Significant experience of operating as a lead Client contact for consultancy services
- Detailed working knowledge of national codes and standards
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in structural engineering design in all materials
- Experience with structural design software packages such as ETABS, RAM Structural System, Tekla Structural Designer & Tedds
- Familiarity with Revit, Rhino and Grasshopper
