Job Summary
Associate Broker supports lead brokers on existing accounts while developing producer-level expertise; acts as intermediary between agents and insurers, contributing to coverage placement, client servicing, and business development. Responsibilities include submission strategy, carrier placement, negotiations on pricing and policy provisions, marketing and brokering activities to identify appropriate coverage solutions, building and maintaining relationships with agents and clients, supporting production goals, and managing assigned accounts with adherence to company policies. Skills and knowledge include foundational understanding of insurance products and markets, underwriting considerations, relationship-building, effective communication, organization, time management, and a strong interest in sales strategy and market positioning.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or relevant insurance designation preferred
- Current state-specific insurance license required
