Job Summary
Associate Brand Designer to support the Guidelines & Governance (BIL) team in shaping the LA28 brand identity. The role is focused on production artistry and layout design, transforming creative concepts into print-ready and digital files, and distributing brand assets. Responsibilities include preparing final design files for distribution, developing versions for different stakeholders, managing updates and templates, organizing design files with the Digital Asset Manager, and contributing to brand guidelines and milestone-specific guides (e.g., pictograms, mascot, medals). The role requires strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Figma, meticulous typography and design consistency, a portfolio demonstrating print and digital standards, and the ability to collaborate across teams. A Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent work experience) and a minimum 3+ years of relevant experience are expected. The position is on-site in Los Angeles, CA, with hours that may vary including evenings, weekends, and holidays during peak periods; relocation is not provided.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, art, design, or related field or equivalent work experience
- Portfolio submission required
- Minimum 3+ years of in-house or agency experience
- Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) and Figma
- Meticulous eye for accuracy, typography and design consistency
- Strong design portfolio showcasing print and digital standards, color theory and editorial principles
- Excellent communication skills and experience working with cross-functional teams
- Passion for sports branding and the Olympic & Paralympic movement
