Job Summary
Oversee banking center functions by managing cash levels, supplies, and administrative tasks while ensuring smooth opening and closing procedures. Engage with customers to understand needs, recommend products, and resolve account discrepancies, then lead a team through training, performance evaluations, and coaching to exceed business development goals. Grow loan and deposit portfolios by identifying cross-sell opportunities, participating in community outreach, and maintaining a professional office image. Handle customer calls and transactions with precision, ensuring compliance with risk management best practices and organizational policies. Work weekends and holidays as needed to support daily operations and drive branch profitability.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- History of increasingly responsible experience in banking, finance, or a related field
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing, with internal and external customers at all levels
- A positive and proactive approach to work, demonstrating enthusiasm, adaptability, and the ability to maintain composure and professionalism in stressful or adverse conditions
- Proficiency in accurately and efficiently processing customer transactions while providing exceptional customer service
- Ability to identify and pursue sales opportunities by understanding customer needs and recommending appropriate products and services
- Ability to quickly and efficiently resolve discrepancies or errors in customer accounts
- Critical-thinking skills and the ability to analyze data, drawing informed conclusions
- Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks, prioritize work, and meet deadlines
- Mathematical proficiency and the ability to quickly and accurately complete standard calculations
- Proficient computer literacy, including comfort with Microsoft systems and Office Suite
- Intermediate typing skills to meet the needs of this position
- Current driver's license and reliable transportation with appropriate insurance coverage
- Ability to drive occasionally in the course of performing assigned duties and responsibilities
- Ability to work weekends, holidays, and at other locations as needed
- The ability to work with minimal or no supervision
Desired Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Business Administration or a related field
