Job Summary
Oversee banking center functions by engaging with customers to understand needs, recommend products, and handle account openings and loan applications. Lead a sales-focused team by setting performance goals, conducting evaluations, providing feedback, and coaching staff on cross-selling and customer service excellence. Manage daily operations including cash levels, supplies, budgeting, and delinquent accounts while ensuring compliance with risk management and security policies. Grow the portfolio of assigned loans and deposits by identifying cross-sell opportunities and participating in community activities to enhance visibility. Work weekends and holidays as needed to support branch revenue and profitability objectives.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- History of increasingly responsible experience in banking, finance, or a related field
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing, with internal and external customers at all levels
- A positive and proactive approach to work, demonstrating enthusiasm, adaptability, and the ability to maintain composure and professionalism in stressful or adverse conditions
- Proficiency in accurately and efficiently processing customer transactions while providing exceptional customer service
- Ability to identify and pursue sales opportunities by understanding customer needs and recommending appropriate products and services
- Ability to quickly and efficiently resolve discrepancies or errors in customer accounts
- Critical-thinking skills and the ability to analyze data, drawing informed conclusions
- Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks, prioritize work, and meet deadlines
- Mathematical proficiency and the ability to quickly and accurately complete standard calculations
- Proficient computer literacy, including comfort with Microsoft systems and Office Suite
- Intermediate typing skills to meet the needs of this position
- Current driver's license and reliable transportation with appropriate insurance coverage
- Ability to drive occasionally in the course of performing assigned duties and responsibilities
- Ability to work weekends, holidays, and at other locations as needed
- The ability to work with minimal or no supervision
Desired Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Business Administration or a related field
- Prior leadership experience, specifically in the banking or finance industry
