Job Summary
Lead from the front to coach and develop financial advisors, driving profitable organic growth for the branch by emphasizing growth, client acquisition, financial planning, and retention. Manage and optimize branch operations, recruit and onboard high-quality advisors, articulate the value proposition to candidates, conduct onboarding ramps, and foster a culture of peer learning, achievement, and integrity. Drive results through regular 1:1s, performance reviews, and data-driven analysis of opportunities, risks, and client solutions, including investments, external practice acquisition, and adherence to Ameriprise core values (client focus, integrity, excellence, respect). Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and participate in supervision activities as appropriate to align client objectives with risk tolerance. Collaborate with leadership to build a robust local client experience and growth playbook while maintaining a strong emphasis on training, development, and advisor success.
Required Qualifications
- Active FINRA Series 7 or ability to obtain within 150 days
- Active State Securities Agent Registration (S63 or 66) or ability to obtain within 150 days
- Active Life, Accident/Health, and Variable Contracts insurance licenses or ability to obtain within 150 days
- Maintain Investment Advisor Representative registration in investment advisor states with a place of business (Series 65 or 66) or ability to obtain within 150 days
- 3+ years of people management
- 4+ years of professional experience
- Excellent compliance record and knowledge of compliance requirements
