Job Summary
Associate Behavior Technician provides ABA services to children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) in clinic and community settings under supervision. Maintains RBT credential and conducts ABA-based individual and group therapy, uses DTT/PRT/PECS and behavior terminology in notes, collects session data, and communicates with families and clinical team. Requires HS diploma/GED, 21+ years old, valid MS driver’s license, access to reliable transportation, and completion of required RBT training within 90 days. Role supports safety, session preparation, documentation, supervision participation, and adherence to protocols; emphasis on compassionate, child-centered care and collaboration with the clinical team.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Must complete required training modules, competency check, and exam to obtain and maintain registered behavior technician (RBT) requirement within the 90 day Orientation period
- Must be at least 21 years of age, have a valid Mississippi driver’s license and valid auto liability insurance
- Must have access to reliable transportation for working hours
- Possess/maintain RBT credential; able to work in clinic and community settings
- Ability to conduct ABA-based individual and group therapy; familiarity with ABA techniques and data collection
