Job Summary
Associate Banker on the Venture Capital Relationship Team at JP Morgan, focusing on building and managing relationships with leading venture capital firms. Responsibilities include lead content creation for VC meetings, supporting portfolio reviews, coordinating with Managing Directors and Executive Directors, driving process improvements, supporting internal projects and leadership initiatives, and representing the team at events. Develop understanding of JP Morgan’s products and services (credit, venture debt, private banking, fund banking, investment banking) and build relationships with junior investors, founders, and ecosystem partners. Oversee team operations (calendar management, metrics, budget planning, process improvements) and collaborate across business lines to deliver opportunities across Commercial Bank, Private Bank, and Investment Bank. Requires 3+ years in a similar banking/VC/PE role and completion of FINRA exams; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of strong performance in a banking role, credit/lending, or venture capital/private equity-related experience
- Requirement to complete FINRA Licensing exams (SIE, Series 63 and Series 79)
- Bachelor’s degree and formal credit or investment banking training preferred
